I’m so glad you wandered over to my website. I hope you find something inspiring here.
I write mostly about places I've been and people I've met along the way. Also about social issues that matter to me and how my Christian faith speaks to those issues.
Silence centers me, so I will frequently refer to the practices that lead me beyond words. Nature nourishes me, so these pages will be well splashed with the colors of flowers and trees and water and sky.
I’m a daughter, sister, wife, mom—and best of all, a grandmother to two amazing little boys. (In case you’re wondering, being a nana is even better than it’s cracked up to be!)
I believe women are the greatest untapped resource in the world. I’m convinced there’s nothing our broken world needs more than an army of strong women freely wielding the powerful weapons of love, vulnerability, humility, forgiveness and peacemaking.
For forty years I’ve been a volunteer—at my church and for various NGOs—which means I’m not on anybody’s payroll. The views I express belong to me and may or may not line up with the organizations with which I affiliate.
Again, I really am grateful that you chose to join me on these pages.
