My Current Thoughts…

In the German magazine, Lydia, as well as in the web site article “My Sister’s Keeper,” I describe the “Grannies” of Africa. These are women who have lost their children to AIDS and are now caring for their grandchildren.

Many of the Grannies are desperately poor and unable to provide adequate food and education for their grandchildren. Fortunately, many African churches provide food vouchers for the grannies and school uniforms for orphans they care for.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to help support the Grannies and their grandchildren, please send a check to my assistant, Brannon Anderson, PO Box 3188, Barrington, IL 60011. Mark AIA (AIDS in Africa) in the memo section and 100% of the funds you donate will go directly to “Granny Projects” in Africa.
